Welcome to my website, the aims of which are to inspire you to be creative and encourage you to enjoy painting and drawing with me.

You will find information About the artist, Workshops, Demonstrations and Holidays, as well as free step–by-step Projects that you can download and paint at home.

I hope you find the site easy to navigate. You can either use the task bar at the top of the page and click on the section you wish to view, or put the cursor over sections within each page and follow the links as the words are highlighted.

I am a professional artist and demonstrate at Art Shows and exhibitions throughout the country, you can also see me on SKY TV (schedule available on the News page).

Specialising in watercolour, I also paint, teach and demonstrate acylics, acrylic inks and pastels as well as Derwent pencils.

There are a number of paintings in the Gallery many of the techniques used in these are taught in my workshops. I have produced various instructional DVDs some of which you will find in the Shop.

I have written two Watercolour books my first entitled 30 minute Watercolours, published by Harper Collins, the second How to paint Water Colour Washes published by Search Press available NOW. A DVD to accompany this book is also availalble.

I am currently working on my third title 'Ready to Paint Vibrant Flowers using Watercolour'. This will be a fabulous book for those of you with limited drawing skills as it will include the tracing layouts inside the book to go with five step by step painting projects. This book will be availalble in December. A fourth title will be availalble next year called Charles Rennie Mackintosh Flowers.
