Workshops

One-day indoor Workshops are from 10.00 – 4.00 covering a specific subject and using a particular medium.
They are a good way of getting ‘hands on’ experience, they are very structured as I find White Lilies

this suits most people and is a good way to learn. If you want to 'do your own thing', my advice is, you can do that yourself at home, so I demonstrate things from start to finish explaining what to do, when to do it and the best way of achieving certain results. Everyone who attends an indoor workshop completes a painting along with me and examples of original paintings are also available to inspire you.
Groups are small, up to eleven people so you get lots of individual help and attention, workshops are suitable for all skill levels unless stated otherwise but if you would like reassurance about your ability to do any workshop please contact me direct for advice.
Your fee includes all tuition, any handouts, and a sample pack of 10 sheets of Bockingford and Saunders Waterford paper.

Indoor workshop in November 2007.
This was a lovely day where we painted three black and white cows using wet in wet techniques and dropping in lots of colour before adding our darks. It was particularly nice to see some old friends that day. Everyone achieved a painting they were pleased with on the day.
