Organising a Workshop for your group

It is possible for me to come to your area and offer a workshop especially designed for your group. This can be good value as you just pay a flat day rate of £350 for the workshop, no matter where you are based. Sunflowers
You need a spokesperson to discuss the content and dates with me, a group of between 8 and 18 people, and a local venue. Subjects are varied and tailored to the needs of your group but you can view some of the workshop subjects on the workshop diary page as well as this page.
I offer group workshops using the following media.
Watercolour
Level 1 - Suitable for most groups - I provide a prepared line drawing on watercolour paper so we can concentrate on learning techniques and not spend time on the drawing. You need to bring all your other art materials with you.
Level 2 - More advanced workshop - I demonstrate and discuss a complete painting from start to finish on a particular theme, perhaps a coastal scene with figurres, or a townscape, after which the group prepare and create their own painting based on this theme, using any of the tips and techniques shown, I adivise and respond where necessary.
Water-soluble Pencils
Suitable for anyone I provide 4 different types of Derwent watersoluble pencils for up to 15 participants to use during the day. We complete four small projects, this is an entirely technique driven, fun, relaxed day. You need to bring all your own other art materials.
Acrylics
Level 2 - More advanced workshop - I demonstrate and discuss a particular themed painting, perhaps a scene with figures, or a townscape, this will be on-going and progress throughout the day, during this time the group prepare and create their own painting along a similar theme, using any of the tips and techniques shown, I then adivise and respond where necessary. Participants need a certain level of independance for this workshop.
