I demonstrate and teach various mediums, ranging from watercolour, acrylics, acrylic inks and pastels.
There are different ways of watching a demonstration.
My Open Studio Event, Art Shows, Art Society or Club meetings, SKY TV, Youtube, Workshops as well as purchasing various DVDs.

Art Shows
At shows I concentrate on continual short demonstrations throughout the day, these are intended to inspire people to try something new, or perhaps try a technique they hadn’t considered before. These are small paintings rather than more finished works.
Visiting shows gives you the opportunity of meeting me and asking questions as well as watching various techniques. I enjoy sharing my knowledge of painting with others in a lighthearted and informal way and this can be a good way of my meeting you too.

Art Society or Club Demonstrations

If you belong to an Art Society or Club you may be able to watch one of my demonstrations at one of your meetings. During a typical two-hour session I will usually complete two, perhaps three paintings on a general theme or topic, for example, strong tonal contrasts, coastal views or flowers. It’s usually a fun, light hearted with questions and interaction being encouraged. You will need to contact your local Art Society to find out if or when I am demonstrating for them.

Demonstrations are designed to take approximately 2 hours including a short break.

Patchings Art Festival, Calverton near Nottingham 14th - 17th June I shall be demonstrating on The Artsit and Leisure Painter magazine stand throughout the show.

Ilkley Show at the Winter Gardens 17th & 18th August I shall be demonstrating on my stand throughout the show.

Open Studio Event in Bourton-on-the-Water 12th - 16th September (more information to follow)

NEC BIRMINGHAM - November 8th - 11th I shall be demonstrating on The Artsit and Leisure Painter magazine stand throughout the show.
