You can receive tuition from me in a number of ways. You can attend either a workshop or follow a step by step project. During 2009 you were able to follow the tuition I offered monthly through The Leisure Painter magazine by following the links at the bottom of this page.

Workshops and Holidays are a good way of getting ‘hands on’ experience, my workshops are structured, as I find this suits most people and is a good way to learn. I teach a variety of techniques, enabling you to progress in your own way of painting, improving your results. I demonstrate things from start to finish explaining what to do, when to do it and the best way of achieving certain results.

Projects are developed to help you to create similar types of paintings and develop your own painting style.
They use a variety of techniques, the aim of which is to inspire you to improve your own painting.

The first one is the January 2009 edition and features a painting of sunflowers. It has my painting on the front cover, you cant miss it, its lovely and bright for January!

In February 2009 I have written an article on winter trees using pastels. I hope you had a go at the project I set you. Find out how I tackled mine by following this link.

In May 2009 I suggested a lovely project painting ATCs (Artist Trading Cards) with the subject being butterflies, adding Irridescent Medium to our watercolours. Follow this link to see my examples.
